青春何以重來

The reason why I am writing this is not because "I don't love my country", but because I love it so much and feel sad every night.

I'm studying Korean at an "institute" in Korea. All my classmates are foreigners. The course is divided into 6 levels, and we have different classmates and teachers for every level.

But I have had Chinese and Japanese classmates in each level so far, because there are a lot of Chinese and Japanese people here. And in every level, there are one or two Chinese students whose behavior has made me sad.

Every time someone has mentioned China they have began interrupting people, and start saying something stupid, they were so excited about discussing their country, that they couldn't even control themselves enough to be polite. And I just had to sit there and feel sad, awkward.

In China, every child is "brainwashed" since they are young, teachers tell us to love our country and the party unconditionally. The media and publishing are also controlled by the Communist Party, and the internet censorship makes it so hard for people to get neutral information from outside of China.

All these problems are the cause of Chinese young peoples' stupidness and ignorance, which I can do nothing about. For political reasons, I bet this kind of brainwashing education and censorship will keep on being implemented in China as long as the CCP holds its power.
